Phyl's Academy Preparatory School is a co-ed school that admits eligible
students of any race, color, creed, religion, national or ethnic origin.
The Early Childhood Program, Nursery,
Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten
Admission
in the Early Childhood Program, (Nursery 1 - Kindergarten), is primarily
based on space availability. A parent visit to our program
is the initial step in the admission process. Although we do not require
testing for these young students, early admission is encouraged. We
suggest students enroll at age two on the Nursery level so they can begin
to
reap the benefits of our progressive program.
The Elementary School Program,
Grades 1 - 5
All prospective Elementary School students, (Grades 1 - 5), are required
to take an entrance exam. We also require report cards and conduct records
from previously attended schools. After the testing process is completed,
a placement interview is conducted to ensure that the needs of each student
will be fully met in the class where he/she is placed. Students’ academic
skills and conduct are observed during the admission process. Parents
are notified by mail about their child’s performance and admission
results after the entire admission process is completed and evaluated.
Registration of a student is finalized when the following have been
received:
- Application package
- Birth certificate
- Entrance test scores (Gr. 1 - Gr. 5 only)
- Copy of the latest report
card (Gr. 1 - Gr. 5 only)
- Parent and student interview (Gr. 1 - Gr.
5 only)
- Payment of Total Enrollment Fee
- Payment of First Tuition Installment
- Completed medical form
